Mission: Providing resources to recruiters across Oregon and beyond to help recruit and retain firefighters. To provide recruitment and retention resources for all fire agencies in need throughout the State of Oregon. Enable Fire and EMS agencies in need with the resources required to recruit and retain emergency responders.
Vision: We will provide consistent and valuable resources to assist in the growth of recruitment and retention of firefighters throughout Oregon. We will continue to meet the needs of the emergency response agencies in Oregon by providing resources to recruit and retain emergency responders through networking and resource sharing.
Values: We support the growth and development of resources to help maintain and provide stability to the communities we protect.

Our Group
​The Oregon Fire Recruiters Network (OFRN) is made up from recruiters throughout Oregon. The purpose of this group is to allow better communications regarding finding new volunteer firefighters, sharing and implementing new programs, and sharing ideas to benefit the fire industry as a whole.

How do I join the Network?
If you want to join the network, please use the contact form and let us know. We will ask you for a brief BIO and a picture. This will also add your name to the email list and keep you posted on OFRN updates and events.
What does it cost to join?
There are no fees or expense's to join. This is a networking group with the goals of sharing content and information to allow recruiters access to information, ideas and content previously unavailable or unaffordable.
How often do you meet?
At this time, we meet each quarter. The location is usually determined by those attending the previous meeting. Most meetings are held in the afternoon and last approx 2hours.
